I went on the Caster Chronicles Facebook page and noticed that there is a lot of cool fan art. Here is a picture I saw:

This was done by Nancy Peramali. I thought it looked really cool and I had to put it up for Fan Art Monday. What do you guys think?
Remember keep sending us your fan art! You can either email or you can post on Facebook.
Thank you so much to all the fans that participate. We really do appreciate it.

Q: Tell us a little about Page to Premiere and how you became involved?
A:Page to Premiere is a network of websites covering books as they become movies, following your favorite stories as they go from the page to the premiere. Some books have their own sites, like HisGoldenEyes for Twilight and Mockingjay.net for the Hunger Games, but we also cover a lot of books on the Page to Premiere blog. I became involved with P2P in a very roundabout way. I met Becka Grapsy though Kaleb Nation’s TwilightGuy, and she later became a founder of Mockingjay.net. I met Kimmy West, the owner of P2P, through Becka. Later on Kimmy opened up applications to become reporters for P2P on the P2P blog. It was about 11:30pm on the night of the deadline, and I decided to apply. Kimmy accepted my application, but there wasn’t a book that I had read that needed a reporter. She gave me Beautiful Creatures. I had heard good things about the book, so I took the position. I bought and read the book, and loved it. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Q: What made you chose covering the Caster Chronicles?
A: I also met Lauren through TwilightGuy. I believe she was the first to tell me how wonderful Beautiful Creatures is. After a little research, I learned that it was set in the South, and being from Alabama, I knew instantly I was going to read and love it. So that’s why I was willing to “risk” it and take position to cover a book I hadn’t yet read.
Q: How hard is it to cover a book?
A: I was lucky enough to get a series that has a sequel coming out soon and very involved authors. My job is made almost laughably easy by these two facts. There is a lot to report on. I can post on casting possibilities, songs people wish were on the soundtrack, or a number of other aspects of the book-to-movie process.
Q: How will your coverage change once the production on the movie starts?
We are hopeful to get a contact in Warner Brothers (who optioned the rights to the movie) so that we can get information on the movie side of the process too. P2P has worked closely with Summit Entertainment throughout the production of the Twilight films and we hope to do so with WB as well. We are a paparazzi-free network though, so we do not post anything about the movie’s stars that isn’t movie related.
Q: Who would you cast in the movie?
A:Lena and Ethan are near impossible to cast in my mind, because some people look right but don’t sound right, or sound right and don’t act right. Macon Ravenwood has many possibilities in my mind. I think Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort in Harry Potter, Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights) would be my first choice. I’d have Sterling Knight (17 Again, Sonny with a Chance) as Link. Those are the only two characters I really have any set preference on.
Q: Who would you want to direct the movie?
A: I think Richard LaGravenese is the best director I could wish for. I am a huge fan of his work, and he loves the story as much as I do. Passion for the book is as important to me as skill.
Q: What did you like about Beautiful Creatures?
A: My favorite things about Beautiful Creatures come down to four topics: the setting, the magic, the relationship, the characters. The setting: I am Southern born and raised, so the Gatlin setting made the book for me. The magic: I love the effortlessness of it, no memorization, or spells, or wands; just magic. The relationship: Ethan and Lena’s relationship is exactly how all romances should be. They feel like people rather than fiction. The characters: My god, the characters. Amma. That’s all I need to say.
Q: How involved have Kami and Margie been in assisting you with your coverage of Beautiful Creatures?
A: They pretty much do my job for me. Kami retweets the link to every post I make. She even settled a dispute between my girlfriend and I over how to pronounce “Duchannes” (it’s due-cane, like sugar cane by the way). They also gave me a full run down on everything that led up to Beautiful Creatures being created, and the movie getting optioned, and now the movie becoming real. I would probably be awful at my job without their help. (They’ll say I’m being modest, don’t let them fool you.)
Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself- such as name, age, what you are studying in school, what do you want your career to be.
A: My name is Zane Spraggins. I am 21 as on June 20, 2010. I happen to share a birthday with some guy named Edward Cullen. Pity me. I am going to Auburn University for a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Political Science. I want to be a programmer and an author. That’s right, one of these days someone will be the reporter for MY novel. ;)
Q:Have you had the opportunity to meet Kami and Margie?
A: I have not, but I think it’s pretty much a guarantee that I will. The next time they come remotely close to Alabama, I am making the trip.
Q: What are your predictions for Beautiful Darkness?
A: Amazement. My friend has already told me (numerous times, almost gloatingly) how great the book is. I think Beautiful Darkness will focus more on Civil War Ethan, like Beautiful Creatures focused on Genevieve. I also see the Link and Ridley relationship playing a bigger part. But of course, I’m only hoping and guessing.
