CasterVlog: Shadowed Summer

Comments

Here's another video review, with just as much shenanigans and foolery as the last one.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the book.

    WHERE Y’AT?
    ALL RIGHT.
    WHERE Y’AT?
    WHAT IT IS.
Those are some classic lines of cinematic greatness.
The Cicada hunt was pretty realistic too.
And that is about the size of a cicada. THEY’RE HUGE.
Loved Shadowed Summer but I may have loved this vlog nearly as much! Nice one, cg 17!!!

You rock, cg17! ;) And here’s a fun fact for the future (say that three times fast,) everybody in the south, especially in Ascension Parish, calls (general use) soda “Coke.” My editor, however, thought it would confuse people if it went like,
“Hey Iris, you want a Coke?”
    “Yeah, gimme one!”
    “What kind?”
    “RC’s good!”
I was allowed to confuse people with where y’at- but not Cokes of every flavor, including other brands. :D
Your very own peek behind the pages- thank you so much for reading, and vlogging my book! :D I’m so glad you enjoyed it.

We have cicadas in southern Ontario! They buzz! I try to pretend they don’t exist!
This video was hilarious. Also, Saundra’s book is great.

Oh boy, the “coke” thing would have really gotten to me.
Your book was so incredible Saundra, I loved ever minute of it! Thanks for the great summer read!!!!

RC Cola! I used to drink that all the time when I was a kid. And I grew up in Los Angeles. That stuff was great. I think you can still find it in store here in L.A.
    Great video.
Cicada Hunters. Sounds like a reality show in the works.

Okay, I have heard the “everything is a coke” thing before. Probably from Kam. But in Utah where my family is from, everything is a pop. Hence my dad confusingly named Poppi by the grandkids, offering everyone a pop, meaning a COKE.
Ah, regional soda talk…thanks for the sneak peak, Saundra!
    xx

By the way, cg17, now my whole family just sits around saying “where y’at?”
I’m glad we now know the appropriate response(s). :)
