More on the Beautiful Creatures Unlock the Curse Ning & Future Contests & Promos

We  have exciting news for participants in the Beautiful Creatures: Unlock the Curse Contest.  We’re going to be featuring a number of future promotions and contests on the ning site, along with opportunities to mash it up with some of the authors and books that we love.

Those who have completed the challenges are eligable to become team leaders.  The leaders of successful teams will have certain advantages in future promotions, and will have greater access to information, as well as opportunities to interact with the authors going forward.

You don’t have to be a team leader.  Just joining the site will give you advantages in promotions for both Beautiful Creatures and the upcoming Beautiful Darkness.

Beautiful Creatures Unlock the Curse Double Double Trouble Bonus Challenge

Well, it has happened.

Team Doesn’t Play Well With Others has achieved one of our “Double Your Points” Bonus challenges. They have doubled their team to a minimum of six members. Well done!

This means that with all the work Cristina and her team have done, they have a real shot of taking Genevieve’s locket.

Now it’s on, can you double your points before the game ends?

There is more than one way to do this:

2.) Double the number of people on your team (to a minimum of 6)

The five people can include you and any of your team. Get five more (for a total of ten descriptions of book, site and link) and we’ll DOUBLE your points again.

In order to qualify to win Genevieve’s locket, the team leader must complete all of the tasks in each challenge.

But did you know that ANY team member can help with extra credit tasks, adding to the overall score of the team?Well, that’s how it works.

And we’ve just created a new EXTRA CREDIT TASK especially for team members.  For EVERY team member who completes the challenges in addition to the team leader, we will add 100 points to the score of the team. 

Combine this with any of the DOUBLE down extra credit tasks, and you could have a team made of WIN.

Each clue in the Beautiful Creatures: Unlock the Curse Contest, a talisman of some kind is found in one of the supernatural novels featured in this contest.  There are six guest authors, but actually the contest involves seven books.  This challenge is voluntary, but good for BONUS points.
